Your Privacy Matters
QRMint processes everything in your browser. Your URLs, logos, contact information, and generated QR codes never leave your device. We have no servers that store your data.

1. Data We Don't Collect
QRMint is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do NOT collect:
- URLs or content you encode into QR codes
- Logos or images you upload
- Contact information you enter (vCards)
- WiFi credentials
- Event details
- Generated QR code images
All QR code generation happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your data is processed locally and never transmitted to our servers.
2. Data Stored Locally
QRMint uses your browser's localStorage to save:
- Your license status (Pro or Free)
- License key (if you're a Pro user)
- Daily usage count (for free tier limits)
- Cookie consent preference
- Color and style preferences (optional)
This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
3. Payment Information
If you purchase a Pro subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by LemonSqueezy. We do not store your credit card information. Please refer to LemonSqueezy's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment data.
4. Cookies and Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements to free users. AdSense may use cookies to serve relevant ads. Under GDPR and UK privacy regulations, we request your consent before loading AdSense scripts.
You can choose to accept only essential cookies (no advertising) or accept all cookies (enables personalized ads). Pro users see no ads, so this doesn't apply to them.
5. Third-Party Services
QRMint integrates with:
- LemonSqueezy - Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
- Google AdSense - Advertising (free users only, with consent)
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold (which is none for QR generation)
- Request deletion of your license information from our payment provider
- Withdraw consent for advertising cookies at any time
- Clear all locally stored data via your browser settings
7. Children's Privacy
QRMint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we don't collect personal data during QR generation, this primarily applies to subscription purchases.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Significant changes will be communicated via the Service.
